The Story Behind Pet Portraits by Drew

My lifelong love of animals and art, and especially my own dog, Georgie, is at the heart of how this journey began. As a university student with little spare income, I wanted to honour her in a way that felt meaningful and lasting. I hadn’t drawn since my GCSE days, but something in me remembered the joy of creating, so I picked up my pencils and tried.

I drew Georgie with all the love I had for her, and when I shared that portrait online, everything changed. What began as a simple drawing became the start of a story I never expected, one where i get to honour your precious pets, with care, intention, and a desire to immortalise the pets who shape our lives.
